Telescopic lift trucks
Telescopic forklift units are equipped with a pronged lift on an arm that extends over the top of the truck offering versatility and great height. The arm, or crane, is referred to as a telescopic boom. The boom enables the individual utilizing it to raise the load to great heights while maintaining a high degree of control. Regular forklifts can not move the cargo towards and away from the cab of the forklift, while a telescopic forklift allows that movement. The telescopic forklift is commonly utilized in both construction and agriculture. It is better for applications where greater control and lift is needed.
A forklift carton clamp attachments are better in situations requiring high volume carton handling. The attachment has arm pads with four way reversible rubber linings that enable the operator to utilize uniform clamping force when lifting a load. It comes with a backrest that protects the loads from damage.
A slip sheet attachment fits onto a slip sheet forklift. It is utilized for storing systems which don't use pallets. The attachment clamps onto the slip sheet and pulls it onto the forks on the forklift. This type of system is handy for intra-corporate deliveries and for overseas shipments.
A man basket is a lift platform designed particularly to raise employees. The basket attaches to the forks on the forklift, held in with a strap or chain which is to be directly secured to the forklift carriage. The platform has railings to protect the employees from falling to the ground. Brackets on the platform are used for fastening the safety harness of the worker.
